Sirat Farm has launched an exciting new project focused on organic wheat cultivation across 300 dunams of fertile agricultural land near Makhmour, south of Erbil. The project represents a significant step forward in the company's commitment to sustainable agriculture and food security in the Kurdistan Region.

The project employs certified organic farming methods, using natural fertilizers, traditional seed varieties adapted to local conditions, and water-efficient drip irrigation systems. This approach produces high-quality wheat while preserving soil health and reducing environmental impact.

The harvested wheat will be milled into premium organic flour for distribution to bakeries, restaurants, and consumers across Kurdistan, providing a locally produced alternative to imported wheat products. The project is expected to produce approximately 200 tonnes of organic wheat in its first harvest season.
